The Repairy Dairy - restore with confidence

Alongside our retail operation sits our sister enterprise - The Repairy Dairy. As anyone with a love of antiques will confirm, looking after them can sometimes pose a real challenge, as well as being confusing and time-consuming. We often ask ourselves why anybody would willingly put themselves through that hell of self-restoration when it's just more convenient and cost-effective to leave it to the professionals.

When it comes time to repair or restore your cherished item, if we don't have the necessary skills to carry out the work, you can bet we know someone who does!! We work with stonemasons, sculptors, blacksmiths, upholsterers and artists, so if an item needs a multi-disciplinary approach, we've got it covered.

Our team will assess the nature of the work needed, depending whether you want it "stabilised", "repaired", part or fully restored, or even returned "to new". We will advise, but ultimately how far we go is your decision, it's your cherished item. Working with you we will determine if the restoration can be carried out in our workshop, or whether we have to bring our workshop to you!

Every restoration starts with an assessment by our team. They will then provide you with a written quote within 7 days, and all being acceptable they will discuss a date for "Restoration Day"! And don't worry, if you decide you want a little bit more done during the process - new seat pads for example - we will just adapt the quote accordingly.
