Restoration
Working alongside The Curious Cow retail side is our sister enterprise - The Repairy Dairy. Our professional restorers will return your much-loved items to their former glory (or near). Work is undertaken at our on-site workshop but if your item is too large to transport to us then we will come to you. Book a free consultation and receive a written quote for any repair & restoration work, then sit back & relax as our team work their magic in bringing new life to your cherished items
Online shopping
No time to visit our shop in person? Not a problem. Along with this website we have also created an online shop, with a growing selection of our stock available. As new stock comes in we add it to the store, giving you the widest choice we can. So if you find yourself awake at 3am wondering what to buy your significant other for their birthday, hop online and browse through our shop whilst in your pyjamas (and nobody to give you funny looks, if you do!)
Advice
Worried about how to look after your antiques or special items? We offer advice on the care & maintenance of everything from artwork to dressers, and it's all part of our service. Got a question? You can pop into the shop or give us an email, we will endeavour to get back to you with 48 hours with words of wisdom about how to keep things looking good.
Quotes
Got an item you no longer use? Downsizing and need more room? Give us a call or email us with details (and pics) of the item you want to sell and let us quote on how much we would pay you for that item. Our paid prices are competitive but fair. And we won't baffle you with bull, but give you an honest appraisal of what we think it's worth in today's market
House clearance
The passing of a loved one is stressful and difficult, and the last thing you should be thinking about is clearing a property ready for sale or letting. Let us take that burden off you at this difficult time. We will visit and carry out a complete assessment on everything in the property and get back to you with a quote that will detail the individual items we are willing to buy off you, as well as a price you will pay us for clearing the rest of the property.
Bespoke
We are so fortunate to have a number of talented and exceptional artisanal craftsmen & women that we work with who provide us with one-off & bespoke items, for when something special is needed. Our bunch of stonemasons, potters, engineers and artists construct & design special commissions and one off items. We have a gallery of pictures that will give you a flavour.
